Making Hope Visible: Work begins on Eternal Wall

Written by:

Construction on the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer began month after the £40m fundraising goal was reached and a ground breaking event took place on Wednesday November 5 with the project now moving toward its planned 2028 opening.

More than 20,000 supporters have contributed to the vision set out to share a million stories of hope through answered prayer.

Founder Richard Gamble said he was grateful for every donation act of service and prayer offered and felt it was the right moment to create a lasting testimony to God’s faithfulness.

Around 120,000 answered prayers have been gathered from 125 countries with a goal of 250,000 set for opening day.

The land was gifted by IM Properties led by Lord Edmiston whose company also provided a major contribution toward construction and he said the landmark was intended to remind the nation of God’s goodness through history and today.

A further £5.7m is still needed to complete the visitor centre parking and landscaping and supporters are invited to help move the vision forward.
