Gaudete Sunday Rejoice

Mid Advent, we pause, not because the work is finished but because hope is already present.

On site, there are moments when the build feels slow, the weather is against us and progress looks hidden beneath scaffolding and temporary works. Yet, this Sunday reminds us to rejoice now! The foundations are set, the plans are sound and what is coming is worth the wait.

For those in construction, this is familiar. We rejoice not only at handover but when the structure starts to rise, when the services are roughed in and when light first fills the space. Joy comes from knowing the purpose even while the work continues.

This Gaudete Sunday we choose joy in the middle of the build. We give thanks for steady progress faithful teams and the promise of what is being formed.
